About MOVIM

Our Vision

“To be a praying, spirit filled, heavenly conscious and a dynamic global church given for a covenant of the people, for a light of the   gentiles to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison and them   that sit in the darkness out of the prison house and to impact our world with love and message of Jesus Christ”-Isaiah 42:6-7.

Our Mission

Our mission is geared towards preaching the undiluted word of God; promoting deliverance and holiness to the lost souls and the entire body of Christ through apostolic revival of signs and wonders and miracles; helping them find their purpose and destiny in life; becoming an instrument of change in the lives of the people of God; bringing them to the realization and enforcement of their authority and victory in Christ Jesus (Luke 10:19) through aggressive warfare prayers; and raising up God’s Generals that will uproot, throw down and destroy Satanic set-ups; and to broaden and enlarge the true Church of God (Jer. 1:10). MOVIM will reach out and teach the people of God across the globe, irrespective of their ages, color, gender, and nationalities.

Statement of Faith

1

We believe that Jesus has defeated Satan and given us victory over every Satanic set-ups and equipped us with his authority to occupy till returns (Luke 10:19)

2

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to mankind; it is the infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

3

We believe that there is one God; eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-3; John 10:30; John 15:26; John 16:13; 1 John 4:15).

4

We believe that man was created perfect and upright, for God said “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” But man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God.(Genesis 1:26-31; Romans 5:12-21).

5

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a unique work for believers —an evidence of which is the speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance (Acts 2:4).

6

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; that Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor (John 1:14).

7

We believe the ordinance of water baptism by burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have repented and, in their hearts, have truly believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Acts 10:47–48; Romans 6:4; Acts 20:21; Hebrews 10:22).

8

We believe the Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol of our continuous communion and sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, a memorial of His suffering and death (2 Peter 1:4; I Corinthians 11:26).

9

We believe the Scriptures teach a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; 1 John 2:6).

10

Divine healing as provided by the Lord Jesus Christ, “1 Peter 2:24—Who in his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed."

Our History

Mountain of Victory International Ministry, (MOVIM).  Edmonton is a Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, founded in the year 2013 and incorporated with the Government of Canada. Pastor Lucky began the ministry with a few family members at a recreational center, here in Edmonton and later lost the venue. Then, he and his members resolved to using his basement for service meetings. Through perseverance and dedication to God he did not look at quantity of his members, rather God’s promises for the ministry. On May 3rd, 2014 God through his revelational   knowledge relocated MOVIM to his current location, here at Terwillegar Recreational Center .
