How do I get involved?

Mountain of Victory is not a place where God’s given talents/callings are dormant. It’s a place of action, a place of results and growth; it is a place for team members. 2 Corinthians 12: 1-12:  the growth of the body of Christ (the Church) is a consolidation and the functionality of the various kinds of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Whether you are an infant child, a hundred year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Find the group that is right for you today, and join.

Our Ministries

Gideon Squad

These are the combination of young adults, married couples, women’s group, men’s group. They are trained prayer warrior who volunteers their time and functions in the deliverance ministries. In Mountain of Victory Ministries, we believe that as believers, we have been endowed with the authority to enforce our victory over all the scheme of the devil and his agents, hence the scriptures tells us in the Psalms 144:1 Blessed be the Lord my strength which teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.

Discipleship/Mentorship

The Discipleship/Mentorship program is designed to equip new members with a more in-depth understanding of what it means to be a Christian; thereby equipping them with the tools necessary to positively impact the surrounding community. The program is divided into two courses. The first course entitled, “In My Father’s House” is a 10-week program specifically designed to introduce new members of MOVIM to basic Pentecostal doctrine. It is then followed up with the 16-week, “Sincere Word” program, which is designed to equip new members to live a successful, balanced, and fulfilled life.

Small Group

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve people. At a time designated by your group leader you can participate in the small group study.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions, bigger stakes, serious relationships, and a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group at our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.

Women's Group

Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men's Accountability Group

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Accountability groups consist of three men each. Accountability groups meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch by email or phone.

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack—internally and externally. The church gives married couples the opportunity to attend four-month marriage classes including topics such as marriage and money, getting ready for kids, shepherding children, and marriage and sex.

Bible Quizzing Team

Our outstanding Jr. Bible Quizzing Team consists of students, ages 5 – 11. These students commit several hours per week to studying and memorizing the Word of God. The team members are involved in tournaments in which they participate with various other quizzing teams throughout Ontario, to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of scripture. Through preparation for these tournaments’ students learn: self-discipline; good study habits; team player attributes; and positive responses to winning and losing. Students interested in participating are encouraged to join at the beginning of each quizzing season so that they can adequately prepare for each tournament.

Over 50s

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-50 group of Grace Community provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.
